What is a Cluster?

DonorTrends is on a mission to make donor identification, segmentation and selection as easy as possible.  Many of our partners agree that we’ve accomplished that with donor clusters.

A DonorTrends Cluster is a group of donors that have similar behavior.  Categorizing donors into similar groups gives you the flexibility to develop fundraising strategies that maximize potential from each type of cluster.

A donor is placed into a clusters based on their behavior with your organization and actions elsewhere. Every one of the predictive solutions has a unique set of clusters.  And every cluster has it’s own actionable fundraising advice.
